Dumpi

Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for downloading and using Dumpi.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Petr Kahanek, an independent software developer based in the Czech Republic. By downloading or using Dumpi, you agree to these terms and any applicable Apple App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dumpi.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you cannot do so yourself, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.

License and acceptable use

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Dumpi on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store rules.

You may not use Dumpi unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, interfere with the app, distribute malicious content, or reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, links, photos, and files you save. You are responsible for that content, for keeping suitable backups, and for having the right to store or share it.

Apple, iCloud, and external services

Dumpi may use Apple services such as the App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, Photos, Files, and on-device speech recognition. It can also store links and open external websites or apps. Those services are independent and have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and operation are outside the developer's control.

Ownership

Dumpi, its design, code, name, and related materials belong to the developer or their licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.

Availability and warranties

Dumpi is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may change, and uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the fullest extent allowed by law, no additional warranties are made. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of Dumpi, including loss of data, profit, or opportunity. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Ending use and availability

You can stop using Dumpi at any time by deleting the app. You remain responsible for removing any data retained in your private iCloud account if you no longer want it there. The developer may stop distributing or supporting Dumpi, but this does not remove rights that applicable law gives you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available under the law of your country. Disputes may be brought before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when Dumpi changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
